Lol.. well except for yesterday. Broke down and had some peanut butter and jam on toast. I'm sure that added like 500cal's to the days total right there

          Great job!

but... Uh oh, I'm probably eating too much then! I usually have around 1200 a day? Is that too much for someone if they're trying to lose a little body fat? (I'm 5'7'' 120ish)

          Thanks!

Nah.. not if you live an active lifestyle.

I'm just impatient and want to get rid of the weight. I seem to be able to function on 1200cals without too much problems. Alot of people can't.

Congrats on your loss! You're well on your way to reaching your goal.

I've gone as low as about 1300 before, or less if I'm carb cycling, but I normally cut at around 1500. Just curious - do you feel like you're losing mostly fat at those cals, or are you afraid alot of it will be muscle? I've always been afraid to go too low for too long 'lest I lose my hard-earned muscle, but maybe I've been mistaken, which is why I ask. TIA!

Yes, I'm definately concerned about muscle loss. And I AM expecting some loss.

However: My bodyfat is still fairly high.. (probably in the 18% range) the lower your body fat, the more prone your body is going to be to burn muscle instead of fat. Also, I find that re-gaining the muscle lost after harsh cutting is fairly easy to accomplish. There can be an amazing re-bound effect.

As my body fat get's lower, I do plan on increaseing the calories to help offset the muscle loss.

1200cals a day, with a little help from some DNP has got me 2/5ths of the way there in 16days.

Course, the 1st 10lbs is always the easiest.

Man I hate cutting. You know it's bad when you look forward to eating your tuna sammich on 12grain bread and made with low-fat mayo

I'm hoping that by the end of Feb I'll have reached my goal. Ugh... 6 more weeks.

GG what dose are you running it at? I'm on day 14, down 9lbs.

...anything lower than 1500cal feel like starvation to me!

I decided to try running it at a lower dose than normal for me. I'm currently running approx 300-350mg every day. Seems to be working well and isn't too uncomfortable either. I've been sticking to 10 days at a time also.

                        Lol.. I'll survive!

I find that lots of coffe in the morning/afternoon and then a rye and diet coke in the evening really seem to squash the appetite. But I tell ya... 10pm hits and I'm fighting back the urge to eat like crazy.
