WELL WE HAVE HAD ARE CATS SINCE 10 WEEKS SHE'S 3 NOW.WHEN THE BABY WAS BORN 14 MONTHS AGO THE CAT ADJUSTED FINE TO BABY FUZO. WHEN I ROCK BABY FUZO TO SLEEP AT NIGHT WITH HER BOTTLE THE CAT JUMPS ON MY CHEST AND WHILE BABY FUZO DRINKS HER BOTTLE SHE PETS THE CAT.THEY PLAY ALL THE TIME . BABY CHASES CAT ,CAT JUMPS UP ON HER CAT CONDO. WELL BABY FUZO MUST OF GOT ROUGH AND THE CAT GAVE HER A WHACK AND SCRATCHED HER IN THE FACE. I KNEW ONE DAY IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN.BABY CRIES MOTHER YELLS I LAYGH IT OFF AND WHAT DOES BABY FUZO DO. CHASES THE CAT AGAIN AND WANTS TO PLAY.LOL I CUT THE CATS NAILS ONCE A WEEK BUT I FORGOT THIS WEEK SO OF COURSE MRS FUZO BLAMS ME.I THINK THE CAT NEEDS TO SCRATCH MRS FUZO.LOL

LOL - if you are really concerned, you can get the caps that glue on to the end of the cats nails - they last about a month - and that way baby won't get scratched.

if shes an inside cat, just get her de-clawed. no biggie. its not like shes hunting for food or having to survive outside your home!
plus you can play with her without getting bloody!! she might not like you for a few days after the vet trip but she will be ok. i had a himalayan i did that to.

you're right bro..nothing you could have done. it's going to happen..scrathches come with the job..mom will lighten up, my wife freeked when my oldest son stubbed his toe.(also, my fault..somehow). now on kid #3 last year he was five, she had to butterfly stitch a cut on his leg, and sent him back out to play telling him to"suck it up"...HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

Hope the scrtach wasn't deep? My dog used to scratch me all the time but they weren't deep so they went away in a few days.NO PAIN, NO GAIN
