friends dad was in sri lanka when it happened luckly he is fine, but the island is just horrible, it is just sad a third world country and there was no way to prepair.“Don't worry about life, you're not going to survive it anyway.”

Last night CNN said that most of the dead were children because they couldn't run as fast as the adults. WTF kind of place is this? Who runs past a little kid and just leaves them? No way in hell would I run past some little kid without grabbing him or her and trowing them over my shoulder while hauling ass for higher ground. No fn way! I'd rather die knowing I did everything I could than be haunted by the nightmares of leaving some kid I could have helped.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

easy to say, but the human brain and pyschology makes us do nothing in these types of situations. first thing you learned to fight when acting in situation of crisis and it happened to me in 2002, I could have saved a man's life but I stood up and didnt react.Originally posted by T-Man007three doodoo is back! did they say run as fast...or did they just say the kids were not able to survive as easily....my guess would be anyone that was close enough to have to run in the first place would have been screwed....they had no idea what was coming....the tide went out so quickly that the fish were left in the sand bars...then people started walkin out far on the sand bars cause they were puzzled...wrong way guys...its really sad...and everytime i check the news the death toll pretty much doublesComment
