i told him last night that i appreciated all the time he spent with me while i was little and he looked at me and said "son, i enjoyed it" that meant a lot to me.

Awe, that's something special man! Damn you O2, brought a tear to my eye(ok, maybe a couple of tears actually). Got me thinking bout my granddad. Grandparents are special people. I remember as he got older and my brother and I had to care for him and help out a lot I used to always complain to my mom about having to waste my Saturday running him to the grocery store, or mowing his lawn, or the worse one , clipping his finger and TOE nails. But I tell you, I give anything to have him back again even if it was just to clip those toenails one more time.

My grandfather passed away about 10 years ago and I still miss him too. He was a great man.
My grandmother is a hellraiser! She turned 80 last year and on her birthday she went tandem skydiving...My mom freaked out...She made sure her doctor approved and he did! She loved the skydiving so much the next day she got a tattoo on her ankle of a butterfly because she said that's how she felt. LOL...She still works out 3 days a week at her gym in Florida. I only hope I have her vigor for life when I'm that old!!!
