Absolutely. As Americans, we thrive on other peoples pain and agony. Think about it: When you see an accident on the road, why does everyone drive by really slow? They hoping to maybe see a glimpse of a bloody arm or something hanging out the window or something close to it. Why do we love to watch Boxing and Ultimate Fighting? Because we love to see 2 people beat the piss and snot out of each other. It's in our Genes. Now if TRAM said "I fell and cracked my head open", he probably would have had people huddling around him looking, offering to roll him over so they could see the gash on the back of his head.
