Dear FG members,
As we all know, recently the board has been experiencing some technical difficulties. Fuzo, our board owner, has incurred the cost to fix the problems out of his own pocket. Not to mention, the usual monthly and yearly fees that come with running a websight. It gets expensive. Without Fuzo, this board would not be where it is today. Basically, Fuzo wants us to have a safe and secure websight where we can all come, get together, and discuss a variety of topics. Because of that, I have offered to help Fuzo out by putting together an idea for donations. I know, the holidays are here and money is tight. But whatever you can donate would be appreciated. If 500 people donated $5, that would be $2500 for Fuzo to use improving the board, keep it up and running smooth, etc... So what we're proposing is 2 things:
1) Just paypal Fuzo a donation of whatever you can do. $1, $5, $10, $20, whatever. Every bit helps. Paypal to Fuzo MNUNZIO@MSN.COM
It will show up as Fitnessgeared.
2) This might be a favored method to many. Donate an item for ebay auction, and send the winning proceeds to Fuzo. You will have to run the auction yourself since Fitnessgeared doesn't have an ebay account. You can even put in your ebay description "100% of winning proceeds go to Fitnessgeared.com websight", or something similar. That would give a huge bunch of exposure to the sight as well. Maybe Fuzo or the webmaster can come up with a nice logo/link we can copy and paste at the bottom of the auction, where people click on it and it takes you directly to the sight.
Many people, including myself, really have no idea how much it takes to run a websight. This is just a nice way to help out Fuzo, especially around the holidays. Again, send paypal donations to:
