  • Lessons Learned the Hardway...

    (I wish I were still blond so I had something to blame it on...)

    well, let's first review the OTHER lesson I learned the hard way this year.

    1) There is no need to replace a light switch that turns OFF when it is "up" and ON when it is "down" - you just need to flip the OTHER switch on the OTHER side of the room.

    ok, with that said, here is lesson two - just learned this morning:

    2) When it is really cold outside and you want to leave your locked car running (while you run into the bank) - you need a key to open it back up THE REMOTE WILL NOT WORK.

            That actually surprises me but I imagine it is tied into some kind of safety feature. Do your doors lock automatically as soon as you start the car?

              actually it sounds like when they installed ur alarm they did not wire it correctly.....that should not happen

                the remote will not work for the door or trunk while the car is running........sorry

                    I have one of those too - in my glove compartment. *ugh* I never got around to sticking it under my car.
