I sold Real Estate for 5 years. Tough business. I can tell you honestly, you have to friggin HUSTLE in the business to get anywhere. And when I say Hustle, I mean HUSTLE!!!! Knock on door, not be afraid of rejection, make cold calls, m ail letters, attend any function that is going to put you popular in the public eye.

thats exactly what i want to do as soon as i get some $$ together and finish school..I'm planning on buying foreclosers near Universities and renting them out..As far as being a realestate salesman you really gotta put out alot of time and effort in if you wanna make $.you also need that salesman type of personality

great money bro....do some research on creative financing....u would be surprised how little money u need to get started if u know what to look for!

yea i know you dont need much..a friend of mine just bought a house upstate for only 13gs 4 bedrooms right near a university ..hell make his money back in a little over a year..Ill look into the creative financing though thanks.

well not just that....creative financing will show ya how to get the houses for more money with little or no money down....great thing to do for money....do it at ur pace....and there is no need for me to touch any of the money i make since its not my main career....so i'll save a ton

Absolutely. Oh, and forget about the standard 40 hour work week. Seriously. Real Estate will require you to be available at any time. Friday nights, Saturdays, Sundays for open houses, etc.... If you are hustling to get business you can expect to work maybe 10 hours a day Mon to Fri, then a few hours Sat and Sun. Yea baby, it's fun to work 60 hours a week and get NO paycheck in the beginning
