now my next deliema is the mini or full size.... i know she will mainly use it at the gym so the small would definantly be handy, and how many songs can you really listen to at one time........ but it just seems stupid not to spend the extra 40$ and get 3 times the storage.

The Mini is just for "looks", besides the full size WIll be compatible with all the accessories where the Mini is not always, if at all.
good point.... but the one accesory i was think of wsa the arm strap for the gym, which the larger one doesnt have.... im still going with the big one though.... got to get the moneys worth.
