I heard the Democratic party is trying to sue churches that say Christians should not vote for Kerry because he supports abortion. They are saying it combines church and state and that would make them politically unbias. As a result the democratic party is saying they will sue to take away their non-profit status if they continue to push for one candidate over another.

It never ends with these people. Why can't they just campaign and be done with it. They try to sue Nader and get him off the ballot, now they want to sue churches for standing up for what they believe in. It's just not right.

Don't you guys think this tactic is wrong? Telling a church what they can and can't tell their congregation. That's freedom of speech being taken away. Not to mention, that's the "state" telling the "church" what to do. That seems like more of an offense than anything else.

Just my opinion.

This election has turned into an even bigger circus than 2000! I've heard about a few lawsuits already being filed by both sides and the damn thing hasn't even started yet.

if you will remember, the ones running the Democratic party these days are the same ones who grew up in the 60's..the ones who as young adults wanted to legalize marijuana, hated all Vietnam vets--spit on some,have free and irresponsible sex, and were staunchly pro-abortion under the banner of a "woman's right to choose". Now these are your Democratic leaders. Lets see..John Kerry is pro abortion, anti-war/ pacifistic, and pro gay marriage..sound familiar? These people want to create chaos. That is what John Kerry's platform will produce and that is what those around him want by pulling these publicity stunts like theyre doing. A few of your democratic senators actually want the UN to come in and SUPERVISE OUR ELECTIONS. Oh yes, 3 senators are strongly calling for the UN to come in and supervise AMERICAN elections. That is totally ridiculous.

Friends, if you will recall the Bible, in the last days the government will be in control of our lives. We will be part of a one-world government (see news websites about the EU taking control away more and more from the US), one world religion (note how so many religious leaders are forming "unity" groups that focus on "what we have in common" and shunning the "extreme" or "ideological" groups), the entire world will be able to simultaneously hear the message of our leaders (the internet), and we will have a single currency (again, note the E-U). Europe, especially Denmark and Sweden followed by France are quickly becoming modern-era Sodom and Gommorahs...The E-U is a liberal trash heap that is slowly drawing the rest of the world into its control. Prostitution is legal in some parts of Europe and Europe is a leading producer of pornography, and even more sickening, child pornography.

Our own beloved USA is beginning to slip as we drift more and more away from our traditional Judeo-Christian values this country was founded on...Not saying "under God" in the pledge, removing the 10 commandments from all public places, LA county removing the cross from it's county symbol, the barring of the Nativity scene at any public area, the gay/lesbian movement, exposure of our children to more and more profane and crude television, the crumbling of the traditional family while we chase the almighty dollar (idolatry)....these are all signs my friends. Check out a company called "mondex" on the web...see what they are selling for the future ("all must accept the mark or forfeit their lives"). IMO, never have so few done so much damage to so many.
These are not fearful times for those who believe... we just need to be aware and speak up and witness when we have the chance, and walk in the Word.

I think the republican party pulls as much BS as the democarts. I don't agree with it either, but oh well.

I find it interesting that nobody on this board claims they're for Kerry, yet the country is divided almost equally on it. And to think that Bush is behind banning all the pro-hormones and cracking down on AAS one would think there would be some anti-bush people or pro-kerry people on here. But instead it's a board full of people that agree with Bush and the war in Iraq and DON'T believe anything the retired and respected Generals say. Hmm, I'll never get it.

I don't know about everyone else but Kerry's stance on most things are enough for me to not vote for him. For me, his stance on abortion in particular far out weighs any ban of pro hormones or aas.

I truly do not (I try not to..LOL) get angry when Im on here, I just get frustrated sometimes that so many are blind and are lost...I just want to help.
