Question about post count

Why is it that only if we start a new thread does our count go up and not when we do "quick replies" to existing threads? Doesn't this promote Whoring?

No it doesn't. If you look you have 2 replies to this thread. Your second one should show 12,901 should it not? But they both show 900

I get what you're saying...It does give you the count. Everytime you post on another thread, and you go back to this one, you will have the same number everytime on every post.

Every time you post it updates ALL your posts with your new post count. Same if you edit your signature. It will update your sig in ALL your posts, not just the ones you made after editing. Make sense?

I think what Large is saying is that your post count will only go up 1 post per thread even if you post more that once to the same thread.
