see i don't think he put an end to that. in thebegininng of the debate bush had said that kerry looked at the same exact intelligence he did when kerry voted in favor of going into iraq. kerry responds by saying yes he did, saddam did pose a threat and needed to be removed but bush jumped then gun. he should have secured our allies better. then later in the debate he sticks to saying that the whole thing is a mistake and we should have never removed saddam. well which one is it. i am not a kerry supporter and i am a former bush supporter. i was hoping the democrats were going to put up a better candidate, someone who got my confidence. but kerry really does scare me. i feel he is going to weaken our current alliances and make BS alliances with nations that can't be trusted.

He voted for Bush to have the power but expected him to exhaust all options before invading Iraq.

Didn't he? I just did a search of U.N resolutions and sanctions against Iraq pre war. That's a long list! Perhaps if the UN and a couple of European countries hadn't been so corrupt accepting kickbacks and making a complete disaster out of the Food for Oil deal, things would have gone a little smoother.
