Finally got power and water, don't know for how long though! Get water for a few hours, then lose it....then we get power for a while then lose it, Can't ever get hot water and see how to shower at the same fricking time!!!!!

Looks like it's gonna bust Alabama and Louisiana. I've got some family in bama but not on the coast so aside from some wind and rain they should be ok. Isn't New Orleans already below sea level?Comment

Damn guys, I feel for you. But I'm sittin high and dry (6600 feet above sea level) here in Colorado and all we worry about are is getting caught off guard by a fast deep snow that traps you in your car. They had one before I moved here. Several people died in their cars. It's a pretty helpless feeling. Of course, the entire city has underground wiring so we never have to worry about losing power. You might lose the cable but you stay warm. But yea, when we get a hard fast snow the humvees come out from the military base and start helping stranded people. It pretty cool and scary at the same time. What does suck though, is we get so much snow that nothing shuts down. Well, except for the pussies from Texas and California who stay home, everyone else goes to work.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
