kerry's "tour of duty"

I did not grow up in the vietnam era...but I always thought a "tour of duty" was one year....How did Kerry get 2 "tours" out of the 4-months he was over there?

Another thing, kerry must've been one heck of a soldier...here's a bit of trivia for you guys...

The military (army, navy, air force, or marines) has NEVER given out three purple hearts to the same person in only 4 months. never..Hmm.....makes you wonder.

For an Officer in the Navy on a boat to get injured three times in 4 months. He was either a rambo or a clumsy fool. Just another reason why I hate squids



No real military person would vote for Kerry on his war time effort! I'd might vote for Kerry if Bush was goining to win. But overall Nader is the man.

Purple Hearts are given to wounded soldiers in actions. so in theory if a soldier would get injured everyday he would get a PH everyday too.

That medal was created to boost moral of the troop during the revolution.
