I need to know how to tune my guitar to DROP B.....I'm trying to play a song called Prison Sex by Tool.

I thought PS was in drop d? Usally a drop b is played on a 7 string with the top string tuned to b.SUPERMOD@ LORDSOFIRON.COM (invite only)

Yeah, drop D on a six and Drop A on a seven. I have my seven tuned down all a half step, and in drop A (A flat actually).
How to do it...tune down the low E string (the fat one on top) until it "matches" the third from the top (D string). Now you are in drop D. Now you are ready for many songs from Tool, Black Label Society, Pantera.......Comment

I have both a 7 string and 6 thats always drop d.....my buddy said he plays most tool and godsmack in drop b on his 6!?......oh well.....
I play it drop d and it sounds alittle shallow but close......hard to get the FX pedal to match tool's sound.
