    Hurricane Charley

    What's up guys!
    It's been a while since I've been on here. Just got electricity back in the house Friday. A week of taking cold showers and no A/C sucks like hell!!! Thank God the gym had hot water! Hurricane Charley tore up Orlando, FL pretty bad! Glad nothing happened to the house though. How's everyone else from Florida doing after the storm?

      We get generators here in case the pwr goes out here we can still run the tv, hot water and heat, but its usually from ice builtup on power lines, lol.

        Yeah generators come in pretty handy. Wish I had one. Too bad some idiots don't know how to use them properly. Over 100 people were treated for carbon monoxide poisoning because they ran their generators indoors! I think only 3 died.

          Got mine rigged by an electrician i know. He added a outlet to my fusebox so all i have to do is run an extension cord from the generator to the fusebox outlet and all i do is switch on the appliances i want to use, instead of running cords to each appliance.

            My buddy's house in Titusville was ok but his parents live a little closer to Orlando and their house had a couple of trees laid down on it, luckily they weren't at home.

                Titusville and farther east didn't get hit as bad. You should see Winter park and East Orlando. The international airport is so jacked up I heard they drive you on a truck to your plane because all of the trains that carry you to the terminals don't work. Even Disney World took a beating!

                  ya downtown is pretty bad too a couple of my neighbors still dont have electricity..!! Glad u all are ok
