Well I think there should be some form of natural order. I follow the Christian views on life, choices and actions so I'm bias. But to take things from a naturalistic or scientific point of view. The union of two same sex humans can not physically make off spring. That right there is enough reason not to allow it. If the union bares no off spring then there is no natural reason to accept it as an acceptable union. Period.

I have even more of a problem with them adopting children. The kids will be forced into a choice of life that they will suffer for. I have worked with and known many gay men and women and all, I repeat, all of their children are screwed up. Their kids our out casts and mentally out to lunch. Now, I'm only talking about 30 or so kids I have personally met. But the fact is I've never met one normal kid in a guy parent family, not one.

3Vandoo, following your logic, if someone were to desire 10 wives, all consenting of course, they should be allowed to do so for the sake of being seen as an equal. Don't you think that this would devistate any economy? Talk about a strain! Just because two consenting adults believe something to be ok for whatever reason, doesn't make it so. I know of folks who "love" their dogs, or cats, but that shouldn't give that animal rights to medicaid for whatever treatment just because the owner considers it to be it's "child". I'm stretching a good bit here but who's to say it wouldn't become an issue? You have to draw the line somewhere. I don't consider myself a "homophobic", I don't dislike any group. What I am opposed to is the act in and of itself. T-Man, you made an excellent point.

Although I think Vandoo is very harsh in the way he likes to make his points and doesn't have much tact () - he has the view a large group of society does - live and let live basically - BUT - I do not agree with it either - I am of Christian values as well so I hope and pray everyday that our government would stay close to my beliefs in our laws and such but we don't live in those days anymore.....Gay marriages, Abortion, Stem cell research (which is basically Abortion) and other topics that go totally against what I believe is why we need to keep our CONSERVATIVE politicians in office like my man G-DUB! haha.....all we can really control is ourselves and how we raise our children and work together with our friends and work together in our communities and if we have the resources move up from there

God I love to play the devil advocate here, and most of youn in that thread don't know me on other boards where I say the contrary of what I put in here .

Keep the debate healthy, but it would be nice to have the replies of gays, as there many surfing the board (MANY).


And I do agree, a marriage in my view are between a man and a woman under God. A marriage between two men or women is kinda unnatural in fact.

Here in Quebec, it went into a big debate. Like I told you, we have the biggest gay popupalation in North America, forget Sant Francisco or Key West, they all moved here . And the politicans agreed to it because of the votes that community represents and the power in term of money they have. As for the religious community, the Montreal's Bishop replied, give them that riight and next we'll see women marrying dogs and men marrying their pigs and what's next?
Of course I didnt agree with mr. Turcotte on his argument. But then protestant churches got into it, the united church agreed for gay marriage, let women as priest etc..

But now, the question, do you think they are really a threat to the basic of your society if it is approved?


For a long time, I said "NO" against my values, wtf its that but, I agreed for couple to have the same rights as their "straight" counterparts.

And please bring more arguments than religion.
