God's word is truth. He holds his "word" above his name. What comes from his mouth will not return to him void. So yes all of his word is truth and to be taken literally. Some parables were for people who weren't going to believe the truth no matter what, that's why he spoke in parables. If you are a child of God you understand if you aren't then you don't and don't want to and make excuses for not serving God. Every man knows there is a God. Every man deep within knows. Yes there is free will but God is sovrien and does as He pleases, man can't judge God, God judges men. Free will give you the choice to choose His ways or your own.

Can you name an other race of people that has had a promise from God, had no homeland for almost 1900 years, then returned to thier land as God promised and give the souce of that information?

Yes to your first question.

You have quoted nothing but what you believe, the Bible hasn't been proven false. I have give you fufill phrophcy but you can see it. The Catholics don't believe the Bible is the fianl athority, they believe the pope is, so of cource he's going to tell you it not all true because some their teachings go against what the Bible teachs. You need to stop listening to what men have to say and investigate it for the Bible yourself.

The reason people don't want to believe the Bible is ture is because if it's ture then they are sinners and in need to a Savior. As long as they can reason that it's factual then there is no need for a Savior.

As far as proving God spoke to the Jews, I quoted Scripture that showed He promised them that they would be scattered then come back in to the land of Isreal, which has come ture. But you say they got the land by winning a war, I ask which war and you haven't responded. Because history don't show that they won a war to obtain the land, but it was given to them on March 14th 1948, as God said it would be. It's seem you are the one that needs to get it straight. They did win the 6 day war where they got Jerusalem back, but they never won a war to obtain the land of Isreal.

how can you say everyman knows there is a god? do you know everyman? makes no sense to me..i dont know there is a christian god that exists at all ..i think there is a greater being of some sort but how can i know exactly what that being is about..how can you speak for every person? maybe some people do say budda help me because thats what they believe in. I say jesus christ all the time and it has nothing to do with a religious meaning. And i dont beleive in jesus because i have a mind of my own and dont beleive in a set religion/traditioin not becausei dont want to give up sin..sins a part of everyones live period

localboyz, I believe that it took billions of years for the earth to become inhabitable. We know from science that it must be a middle aged planet to support life. When faced with the enormity of eternity, a couple billion years probably is the equivalent of our six days. We are still in the seventh day where God is resting in His creation. I believe in micro-evolution. We cannot deny small changes and adaptations that take place throughout the world. The quantum leaps as proposed by most evolutionary theorists just don't hold water. Cosmicly speaking there is a very small window of time for it all to come together and life to emerge. It's the same as saying that it's likely a tornado could rip through a junk yard with the end result being a fully assembled fully functional Boeing 747. Not gonna happen. Without a Divine Intelligent design, we are a barren wasteland.

People who do not believe in God and who do not believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God will go to the Great White Throne judgment and will be thrown into the Lake of fire where there will be weeping and knashing of teeth. We all have a concience that tells us right from wrong. We look at "things" and know someone created them. God created man in his image. What it will boil down to is that no one will have an excuse when we stand before the Lord. All of the deeds of an unsaved person good and bad will be laid bare and exposed before all. Our thoughts our motives and the intentions of our heart. The bible "HAS" been proven true. There are hundreds of prophecies that have come true. We as Christians are not obligated to tell non believers "proof". We are only obligated to tell you that with out Christ you are hopeless and have no hope. He is the way truth and life and No man can come to the father God unless you go through Christ. Isaiah tells about Jesus hundreds of years before he came to the earth. The Old Testament tells of how Jerusalem would become a state of it's own and it happend. Just blow the dust off and read for your self.

How do we know from science?

We don't need science or any other thing to guide us as to how God has done what He has done or does, but the Scripture, Sola Scriptura!

Science today has an agenda and that is to disprove God and His exsistance, why would we look to them or believe them? The idea of the billion of years has changed over the years, just 20 years ago it was millions of years. The reason they came up with all these years was to try and prove evolution, that it took millions then billions of years to from the fossel record to forum, some how proving evolution.

The problem is the fossel record only records species, no transitional forums at all. A fish is a fish, a dinosaur is a dinosaur and nothing in between. Not very good proof of evolution but more of a proof of creation, that all creatures were created and stayed as they were, not changing form a lizard to a bird or what have you.

Men can say this would take millions or billions of years to forum but God can make them instantly.

Romans 4:17 "in the presence of Him whom he believed--God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;"

There are many facts that can disprove evolution but not one that disprove creation. This is what always baffles me.

When I say that we know from science, I mean that we know by observation what types of environments planets have at various points in their lifespan. The only time that a planet's environment is hospitable enough to support life is at it's "middle age". I have no doubt that God could have done this in an instant, but I also have no doubt that he didn't. God's "day" is I'm sure in no way the same measurement as our 24 hour day.
Your siting of Sola Scriptura isn't really accurate. Didn't God in fact give us science, reason and intellect? The problem with Sola Scriptura is that it doesn't allow for Traditions passed down even by Christ himself (do this in remembrance of me). Some of the other passages that support this are 2Thessalonians 2:15, 3:6 and 1Corinthians 11:2. Not to mention that the early Church did not even have a New Testament to go by, they only had Hebrew texts known now as the Old Testament and Tradition.

Where would the information from a dna call come from, but from a creator. The evidence is in His word, science isn't looking to prove a creator so when they do find something that would prove creation, they dismiss it.

If there's no evolution then there has to be a creator

The thing about evelution is you need blind faith to believe it, because the evidence isn't there. It take more faith to believe in evolution, the numbers on 1 basic amino acid being formed by chance are so astranomical it could never happen.

Yet people choose to believe it happened because if there is a creator, there's a God and that God has laws that He will judge men by. So they choose to believe we were formed by chance, rather then a creator.

For some reason, people have gotten it in their heads that science is the devil. Not all physicists are interested in proving evolution or disproving God as the Creator. Some, granted this is a small percentage, but some are out to offer as much "proof" as possible for the existance of God and His intelligent design of the cosmos. IMO, we shouldn't shy away from science, we should be very careful with it, because todays theories aren't necassarily tomorrows laws. Science can be a beautiful way of better understanding our faith and God's awesome intellect, patience and love.
