I don't watch much television. There is a website run by Dr. Hugh Ross, a physicist at Cal Tech, called reasons to believe. There's a ton of information on Christian apologetics and scientific apologetics. He has everything from Darwin's lie to overwhelming evidence of intelligent design of our universe based primarily on Einstein's theories of General and Special Relativity as well as Dr. Hawkings writings and the Big Bang Theory. Pretty good stuff. For spiritual reading, I prefer others but you can't beat Dr. Ross for hard evidence of the God of the Bible. God is pretty cool indeed!

The turth is in facts not experiances, because we can all have different experiances. The mormons have the experiance of the burning in the bosom which justifies there belief, but they have no facts or eveidance that the historical things wrtten in the book of moron ever exsisted. Where we as Christians have all of those through the Bible.
I went to a Church that relied on experiance to justify what they did, but as I read the Word what they were doing was/is wrong. We need to line our lives up to the Word not our experiances.
It's interesting how some guy say they talk to Jesus but when you listen to what they say it doesn't line up. They talk to Jesus like he's the guy at 7/11, when John seen Jesus in the book of Revelation he fall down as died. He didn't talk to Him as if he was just another guy down the street. So their experiance doesn't line up with the Word. Same with Saul(Paul) he was on the ground when he meet Jesus.
The Word is for doctrine, not experiance. Our faith is not blind, it's has evidence behind it historical, scientific, prophetic and arcalogical.

True, Christ is the fullfillment of the Old Covenant, but it isn't our western culture that keeps us seperated from our Jewish brothers and sisters. All Jews didn't accept Jesus as the Christ. I agree that we shouldn't talk to our Lord as we would some gym buddy, but with reverence and with a child like adoration, trust and love.

That's not ture there are many Jews that trust in Jesus as their Christ.
This is what I'm talking about, since the Temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. Christianity began to believe that all the promises to the Jews were now for the Church because there was not homeland called Isreal, so the name Isreal was aligorical for the Church. Because God had forsaken them because they killed the Christ, so we seperated the Jews from the message of God as if He was done with them, that's what Romans 10-11 are about.
That's what I mean, this seperation started in the western Church not the original middle eastern Church, Rome is in the west.
That some how God is done with His people. God is using His Church to spread His message right now but He will use the Jews again, He's not done with Isreal by no means.

JohnnyB, you are right. The Jews are the chosen people. Who is man to condemn them? Not excepting Jesus is not the first time they were wrong about God and his intentions, yet God continues to fulfill his promises to them, once his lessons have been taught and received. Who knows... The entire Jewish community may someday have some tremendous revelation and fall down and accept Jesus as the Messiah.

There is going to be a day that they will recieve Him as their Messiah. If I remember right it says all Jews will recieve Him as their Messiah, I believe those will be the ones still alive during the second half of the great rebellion

Jesus is my best friend. I do talk to him like my buddy. I share secret things with him. We don't have to stand far off from the Lord. He was intimate with his disiples and he said If you obey me I will no longer call you servants... but friends. You are my friends if you do what I say. It is about relationship. God isn't a stern God waiting to through bolts of lightning at us when we miss it and hail mary's don't cleanse us. Only the blood that was shed on the cross can cleanse our hearts. A priest can't forgive us of our sins, he needs forgiveness as well. The way to the
Father is "through" Jesus and there is no other way. Now, as for the gay community. Christ hates and is disgusted with the "sin" but he does love the sinner and wishes that all would come to repentence. I knew a lady who kept saying Mary would talk to her. NOT TRUE. NOT BIBLICAL. Everything has to line up with the word of God or it is Nul and void. Well everyone have a good day. Glad we are sharing.I eat spinach

JohnnyB, I think I was a little misunderstood. I don't mean that the Jews are foresaken or forgotten by the Father. They are the chosen ones from the Old Testament and although there are the Jews for Christ, the Orthodox Jews and the Jewish faith as a whole does not accept Jesus as the Messiah. If they did, then they would fall in line with the Christian faith. (Jews for Christ, etc....)
