I want to order a new desktop and can't decide where to get it...was thinking of dell, ibuypower, or cyberpower....anyone who knows a thing or two about computers please let me know wic one would be better...I want it to be fast, lots of storage, and e able to copy my dvds,cds,etc....basically a fast basic household computer....

you probably won't be dissapointed with a Dell, however there focus is going towards commercial accounts and there customer service is not what it used to be, many of there call centers are in india now
you may be surprised at how good and cheap a locally built computer will be, just make sure the company has been around for a while.
most of the parts are the same, it is the service that counts
DO NOT BUY FROM COMPUSA Too long of a story but there cust serv sucks, not just my view but i have spoken to many waiting in line at the store who all regret buying from them
If you choose a Windows based system spend the extra dough for Windows XP Professional. It will save you a lot of headaches in the future. The home version is not much better than ME which is the worst ever.R.I.P. GearedUp
