    My gym is making me mad

    As most of you know from reading my posts things have been getting really suckass at my gym. We were bought out a few months ago and this guy came in and just added new paint. Rearranged the machines around. Added some nice touches and we were all like this is great. Well as i have said before i got accused of taking money out of the managers pocket becuase i brought a guest to try it out for free. Reminder i have done this four times and three have become members but know you must make an appt with the sales people or its a $10 walk in fee. Then they are adding $5 to my monthly fee because i do not use EFT but pay monthly at the desk. Then today i go in and they just hung up a new sign saying that any advice from the trainers will now be fee related. It used to be that when you joined a trainer would make you familrar with the equipment and put you on a routine. Not now, need advice? open your wallet!

      This is common with most gyms - I try to find the little hole in the wall places where everyone is serious and where the members are like family....

        Next thing they'll be posting 'out of order' signs on the water fountain so you have to buy a $3 bottle of poland spring from them.

          thats my gym. there are at least 10 buckets laying around to catch the water when it rains. new equipment to my gym owner means changing the seat covers on the old equipment. but its the same group of people everyday, we yell back and forth across the gym and if i become a ***** and start skippin i have to deal with 20 guys bustin my ass when i get back. i refuse to leave this gym!!!

              Ok now i get a letter in the mail saying that i can no longer be given the rate that i was getting for being a Full Time College Student. They set the age limit to 27 and if you are older than that then you pay full price. Now i have been paying the student discount for 5 months now but they keep changing everything. That new Gold's opens in two weeks!

                hmm that sounds like the gym I used to work for...they made us to the same thing with the EFT then when people got double payments taken out they looked to us. Im gonna start going to LA Fitness..its a good gym if you have one around
