hydrogen peroxide, itches like a *****.
Hmmm sorry to hear it makes you itch.

I know mino does not cure it...but I would ask the doctor for Duac and try that.

i have a full script of mino... so ill stick to that... besides the duac is just benziol with antibiotic in it? i can just use benzoil ontop of the mini and get similar stuff right?

I don't know if you are using the lotion, but dont, as i have had problems with them poping up with it. Much better luck with using nothing.

But I have heard mederma helps with scarring as well as Alpha Hydroxy Acids and Beta Hydroxy Acids...which help in skin turnover and exfoliation. Drug store brand moisturizers and cleansers contain them...as do some upscale department store brands. DDF (sold at Macy's and Nordstroms) have a good line out there - you may wish to have a look (also on the web -- Dr. Howard Sobel is the derm behind the brand).

I would attack it with a combo of methods -- hydrogen peroxide over the affected area and some sort of topical to combat the acne once a day -- and then hydrogen peroxide and a AHA or BHA once a day (morning/night kind of routine). The Duac does nothing for the marks.

Those do heal over time on their own -- but some people take longer than others.
Thanks, Newgirl! I will try this to see if it will make a difference. I just gets annoying if you never had skin issues to see this..lol.
