Gifts for an opposite sex friend

I have an old friend that is a girl. I have no interest in her and would just like to get her a few nice gifts for her birthday. Nothing special, just some nice things. She likes the following:

coffee (maybe a coffee cup or starbucks gift certificate)
shopping (maybe a gift certificate to a mall)
books (maybe a gift certificate to a bookstore)

I don't want to get her all gift certificates, so anyone with some good ideas I would appreciate them.

Get her a package at a health spa. Can't go wrong with that. ahah or just buy her some coffee at Barnes&Noble and let her shop for a book (coffee,shopping and books in one)

All of the options listed above would be GREAT for any girl! I think she will be elated that you just remembered!

Also, get her a card and write more than "from, John Doe" in it. Write a little message. I HATE getting cards people just sign.

Godiva has great coffee!! but you have to get the biscotti to go with it - those are great from godiva too!

I say, if you are not interseted in her in any other way than just freinds,,,,,,skip anything that she sprays on her body, she may get the wrong idea. (You may want her to smell like that paticular sent because you want to get close *wink, wink*)

But the coffe/book idea is great....Or any really good coffee, and a nice to-go cup....great idea!
