If you guys dig the idea - you can have it. I have it on Adobe Illustrator too (vector-based for scaling). But here is a gif - let me know if you want any tweaks done to it...
Just though you could use a logo in the header. A little corporate identity...
Red wouldn't look good with the site's colors. They use a lot of cool colors in all the template choices. Besides cool colors, a complement could be used too... like Yellow or Orange (not red because green is not used). But They don't repeat the colors any where else in the site - so it would look odd and unbalanced.
I did it black and white with a transparent gear to make it more compatible with the template choices...
Just some color theory stuff...

The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.
