I think it maybe depends on how long you going to keep the car. If you just going to keep it for a couple yrs and don't care about fast depreciation get the GM. If you want the best in quality and engineering, and doesn't depreciate as fast with little maintenance go european. I used to be a "buy American" guy, but after i bought my first european car, i swear i will never go back. The quality and engineering is soo much better. Hell, most of the parts in American cars are outsourced anyway. I don't know how much this GM GTO costs, but if you spending like 30K it is too much. Better to get a demo Porche or BMW at that price. To me, if i can spend my money on a car thats twice as good as the competition, well guess where my moneys going??
