GM got rid of the F-body because it was a loss leader for far too long and they could no longer justify holding on to it as an image car.
Now they bring out the new GTO, which is nothing more than a re-badged Holden Monaro (a dated vehicle to say the least). It’s under-powered, over-weight, it handles poorly, and as a bonus it gets terrible gas mileage.
It’s pathetic that GM would tarnish what little image they may have by putting the GTO name on that hot steaming pile. There are way too many better choices of vehicle out there to waste your money on a GTO.Comment

OMG - I test drove the IS 300 I LOVED IT! I had a pontiac - the entire engine locked up after a month WHILE I was driving! Almost had an accident - then I had to have it towed.Comment
