I lost a cat one after I moved. I went outside and called for her at 4 am when it was very quiet she found me!

Try it! I hope you find your kitty.

Although, i will pray for her to receive her kitty back. I do not understand why people are not more resposible when they have indoor pets? We have about four feral cats that owners let out and never return to there homes or people just let them out because they do not want them anymore. They come to our home and my wife and i feed and try to care for them so they will stay alive. We have also had these cats spayed and neutered. If we were to call the shelter they would surely be euphemized. Teach your childeren to be responsible, and also to leash an animal that is going out side to relieve themselves. They do also make leashes for cats. All you have to do is walk the cat outside leashed until he or she does their duty. You have to really watch it when you have cats and go in and out of the house, that they are not right behind you, as they are very quick. You might want to try putting some good treats out on your porch to see if the kitty will come to eat, also try to look in all the nooks he may be hiding.

Read my whole post then make a mature comment, otherwise don't give one dude! Oh, and to take it one step further, most urban cities have ordinances that require pet owners to have their pets leashed when outdoors. Sorry, there is no excuse to leaving doors open so pets can go wandering outside, later to be lost. I personally have three sets of pets both male and female. Two cats, two birds, and two rabbits, which i have to keep seperated. Being animal owners means accepting the responsiblity to care and make sure they are safe and also making sure your children can also accept the responsibility. If you can't then you shouldn't have them, because you will only be contributing to our over populated shelters and rescurer's.

Lol... you've never had an indoor car have you?
It's damn hard to watch the door all the time..and them kitty's are sneaky.
