Well, in the locker room anyway. He was walking out of the shower area as I was walking in...
Anyway, he slips and does the hugest 1/2blackflip-land on your head fall that I've seen in a long time. Bigtime air! I knew he was gonna hurt when I saw him fall, but when I heard the sound of his head hitting the tile... I knew he was hurt bad.
It was pretty supriseing. My first reaction was to look around and see if anyone else saw him fall...nobody. So then I look back at him and realize he hasn't moved. He's out cold...
I walked up to him and was just trying to figure out what to do, when I heard some other guy say "Is he OK?" I looked up to him and said "better go get a lifeguard from the pool area". He left in a hurry..
The dude still wasn't moving. I knelt down and noticed he was breathing (thank god). I also noticed a slight trickle of blood coming from the back of his head. It seemed like it took forever for a lifeguard to come. It was probably only 30seconds or a minute...but it seemed like forever. Especially when you're just stareing at the dude wondering what you should do.
My first notice that the lifeguard had arrived was when I heard a "Oh my" from behind me. Lol.. they have no male lifeguards... And I finally sprang to action! I knew what I could do to help! I layed my towel over the guy's fun bits. It felt good to help...
She started speaking to him loudly, and got on the radio to have someone call an ambulance. After a couple of try's, he started to respond to the lifeguard lady. So I sorta left them... when it was time for me to go, I looked back in and the ambulance hadn't arrived yet, but the guy was alert and answering questions.
My towel ended up getting donated to the cause... damn that was wierd.
