Yeah..I agree.

I used to work at a McDonalds back in my teenage days. And honestly, I'll never be scared to eat at a Canadian McDonalds. They are really strict about their sanatary procedures.

However.. the american McDonalds are another story. Sanitary procedures are only good if the boss enforces them instead of saying "what are you doing wasteing your time washing your hands? Get back to making burgers!" It amazes me how poorly run the American McDonalds's are run compared to the Canadian ones. It seems to get progressivly worse the further south you go.

Honestly, it's the less popular and common "fast food" places that scare me the most. IE) The pita place where the dude handles money then goes on to making the next pita without washing his hands. In a McDonalds, the person taking the order doesn't touch the food.
