Damn girlfriend is pissing me off!

She's mad at me because I'm going out for dinner and beers with the guys from work tonight.

We have pretty conflicting schedules and can only see each other on weekends (around her part time job) and Monday and Wednesday night.

Yeesh... she's giving me the "Well obviously I'm not that high of a priority" crap. While I may only get to see her 3days a week, I get to go out for dinner with the boys maybe twice a year. Plus I told her she's welcome to join us...

I think it must be getting near that time of the month or something. She won't come because she's pissed off... she's pissed off because we don't get to see each other. Nice frickin logic...

She'll get over it... and yes I don't stand for it either. I bend over backwards to try and spend as much time as possible with her. If she's gonna get mad, then so be it...I have a fealing that in a week from now it'll never have happened if you get my drift...

Got Gear? -- I have to be honest here -- I gotta say that generally this sort of behavior does not really come from PMS. There is something that must be bothering her and this was a good excuse......perhaps she could be feeling a little insecure with herself or perhaps the relationship is getting a little routine.

Honestly, I am sure she realizes you do not go out with the boys often -- so, I suggest YOU GO OUT WITH THEM as planned -- I truly believe the each person in a couple needs time apart and separate interests. Hell my man goes on his wild boy trip with his single buddies to Vegas EVERY YEAR and I would not dream of stopping him. He even goes on golf weekends with his other buddies as well....and there is no worse schedule than ours (I work days and he works nights and weekends and goes to school)....so that is why I am suggesting something else is bothering her.

Go out with the boys and on your way home -- leave her a little note or candy or flowers for her to see when she leaves the house -- just a token of you thinking of her and thanking her for understanding about boys night out. Your kind gesture will rethink her own gesture.

And yeah, I honestly don't blame the PMS. She's just a very emotional girl...which is hard from me because I'm a very logical person. Tho around PMS time...the emotional part is even worse.

She tends to think too much with her heart whereas I tend to think too much with my head. It's sooooo frustrateing and yet fascinating at the same time. Often she'll feel so strongly about something..yet when I ask her "why do you feal this way" she can't answer me...that just blows me away. If I do or don't like something I know exactly why... But it also scares me...it leads me to think that she could be lead to believe in something that isn't true.

She admits it herself...that's why I'm not too worried about. In a week from now she won't even remember it happened.

Thanks for the idea about stopping by on the way home. Unfortunately, that's a big reason why we don't get to see each other as much as I'd like. She lives on the exact opposite end of town from me. "stopping by" means a 45minute detour in the wrong direction.

Hmm...well they always say women think with their hearts not their heads...but I do agree that even with instinct -- I have a good handle on why I "feel" a certain way about something or someone...then again, I am honestly one of your more level=headed peeps anyway. I tend to think too much many times.

Hey GG, it could be worse. Last year I used to see my girl only on Friday and Saturday. Then about six months ago she only wanted to go out on Saturday. We dated for three years and I always wanted to see her like 5X a week but she never wanted to because she had school and stuff. So I put up with that for three years and then the last six months I knew that we were nearing the end because she just didn't want to spend the time anymore with me. So we went our separate ways.

hahahahahaha, same here but in a way we me and my girl do it to each other. Shes wants to go out with her friends, i wanna tag along or tell her not to go and be with me. Then when mine invite me, she wants to be with me. I say the best thing to do is to invite her to go with u man, there both of u all willhave fun. And also this gives her more of an idea what ur friends are like, in letting u go out more often. My girl likes my friends.

true, my girl told me once that since i lift weights and all, she thought i wasn going to attract more girls and all, but if u love the person alot and i mean alot, theres no reason for her to worry.

Ugh... don't get me started on that one. From what I understand her X's have always been kinda ugly. Decent guys...but not attractive. Whereas I'm at least a little attractive... it drives her nuts and me in return.

One night not too long ago we went to the bar with some friends. I left the table we were at to go to the bar and get some shooters. While in line the girl inline behind me started talking to me. We talked for a few minutes, I got the drinks and left.

She was furious...but luckily not at me. She says something like "That fat ***** was trying to pick you up!" Totally caught me off guard. She was convinced this girl followed me up to the bar in order to talk to me. She was also convinced this girl looked at her when she walked by and gave her some sort of evil smile of something. I couldn't help but laugh.
