RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.

I don't know what to suggest bro. Think of something she loved and do a tribute to her... IE) If she liked feeding the pigeons at the park, donate a bench and put a plaque on it with her name.

LOL, a tribute to her would be something related to work

She retired at 84, she only took vacation once for a week end in the 50's
was working 15h a day, 7/7 in her grocery.

LOL, one afternoon I was placing the 24 packs of beers. And some dumbass from Labatts put them up too high. And when they are travelling the breweries put some glue between the case eh. So I tried to get a case of Labatt 50 and the WHOLE pile dropped on me, I had 4 case that hit my head, 12 bottles that broke on my head. So she ran toward me and didnt asked if I was okay, she was counting her lost bottles
                lol

Sorry for your loss. She lived a nice long life to 88, I hope my wife makes it to 88, think how much she has seen, how awesome it must have been to see so much transformation since 1916.

Grocers are crazy like that, my grandfather owned a local grocery and I can remember how much I loved going there as a kid. God help you if you were horsing around and knocked something over or broke something I swear they have a mental inventory going at all times, they always knew if you "borrowed" a piece of candy.

                        She lived a long time.
