When the last time you heard someone say 'Pontiac' and 'Performance' in the same sentence?

pontiac is bringing back the GTO. it is fast. it will smoke any mopar except the viper which cost 3 tims as much. dodge dosnt even have a V8 car anymore they slap a RT sticker on the side of a family car with a V6 and put bigger tires on it and call it performance.

i am not really a pontiac guy i love mustangs i just ended upo with the ones i had and loved them. i got pontiacs back on this one. the hottest stock small block cuda couldnt take a 69 ram air 4 bird.

Trans Am's are good cars when properly equipped. Meaning this, take out that original motor and drop a small block 350 or 400 in it, of course you will need the proper heads, intake, and carb. Flowmaster exhaust wouldn't hurt either. If you really want a badass musclecar, drop a 455 bigblock under the hood.

Trans Am's can be nice cars, but if want to rebuild a classic musclecar you may want to go with something else like a 67-69 camaro.

Man, I'm staring at my 'Cuda !:43 model and Kitten, you know I don't know shit about pontiacs. I know most of my shit about Mopars and Chevys. Oh, did anyone watch Joe Dirt last night. Man that 426 Hemi David Spade drove away in was one sweet ride. And I liked what he did to Kid Rock's car.

Unfortunately, the turbo V8 in the TA was a big dissapointment.

The Grand-Nationals of the era were much faster with only a turbo V6.

Most of these cars had better engines swapped in over the years. A non turbo 350 for example (faster, cheaper, and more reliable)

              Myself from age 17-25 I drove a very clean 64' Impala super sport, tricked out 327 4-speed(low 13's) 4:56 gears,ect.

Loved that car. To this day I still have people who I don't know ask me If I was the owner.(got pics in storage)

I sold it at a loss after my son was born. Damn--not long after that they started getting very popular.

              Oh yeah and fuzzy dice

My cousin has a a 69' Firebird convertable(Trans-am? Not sure)400 engine factory 4-speed, stripes, green, white leather interior. Its spottless. Sucker got married 15 years ago and the damn thing has'nt been started or even out of the garage at his parents house since.
