destructive dog issue

the dog does that becase you leave her!! she is acting out. for one she is a puppy full of piss and vinegar and another she is a weimaraner
which is a hyper dog. Like dolmations they are bery hyper too, get them to excited and they piss all over you. You need to spend more tyme with the dog atleast unitll it gets alittle bit older. Dogs will do this type of action when they are acting out against you, it is there way of saying that they do not like to be left alone. you got the dog a play mate but it is 2 different odgs with different personalities. some dogs are docile and some are just hyper as shit. My friend had a rot. puppy and the damm thing chewed everything in the house when he left, no matter how many toys or chew items he had, the dog would eat remote controls the corners of the wall, the couch corners, his shoes, just about any thing. but when he was home the dog did not d=bite into shit!! There is no sense in having a dog if you can not be there to train it day in and day out. when i had a puppy chow years ago, my mom would be there in the day and i would be there in the night, so someone was home with her 24 hrs. This dog never chewed a damm thing and is one of the best dogs I have ever had.

bro . you have one of the most high energy dogs thier are, think jack russel terrior with size. she is gonna be high energy when your not home and when you are. you are gonna have to contain her or she will continue. she is punishing you for being gone. this behavior gets worse when the dog starts to get sick and eliminate everywhere , it can get so bad that she will start to hurt herself ,by scratching her hair off or biting at her paws.

bo , my red and white is 75 pounds , i swear he has malimute in him but he is a big ham. buy definitly alpha around other big dogs. they are great escape artists.

Good advice, but I do have to go to work and that is when she is left alone. Its cool, I got a chain link kennel put in the back yard, 10'x10', thats where she stays now during the day.

If it is really anxiety and seperation your vet may consider "puppy prozac".

Both of my huskies are about 75lbs. And they are 75lbs of stubborness. When a husky wants to do something they do it. Training them was a full time job. The time you put in early on saves you a lot of headaches in the future....Like kids! They are great family dogs and friendly to people. The only problem is that they only see me as the Alpha so they automatically become alphas around other dogs. Two alpha huskies and any other dog usually results in a tussle. Damn can they fight! Gotta love em!
I put up a 6ft tall kennel in 1/2 of our garage for them with an old couch and they love it. The crates are now used for travel and hot days when they need to be indoors in the A/C.
