For those of you that have a treadmill, what is the best bang for the buck? My sis is looking to get one. I know that it's not the wisest solution to go buy the one that is for $300. What brands do you all suggest that is not over the $700 range? Thanx!

My preference is an elliptical, a lot easier on the knees.
Treadmills can be just as rough as jogging on pavement once you in shape and want to ramp up the cardio.
Nordic Trac makes a nice one for ~ $700.00Attached FilesSo be sure that you are makin the best of what that you have
the truth is all within yourself

if you have a Play it again sports store around buy a treadmill there. if you end up not liking it or just get tired of it they will buy it back no questions asked. They carry all kinds of used equipment ellipicals, spin bikes, treads, recumbant and semi recumbant bikes ect, ect. all kinds of goodies for way less of a price, perfect for the person who is undecided on what they want.
I recommend an elliptical trainer with upper body attatchments, but make sure you can go in reverse.
