it seemed like everytime i hit 245, something would happen to hurt me! i had a 2wk stomach flu one time, shoulder problem another, and then i moved and had to take time off.... 245 is just not made for me i guess

im doing 275 for reps but can only do 295 twice on a good day. i cant get over 300 to save my life. im a good size and look ok but i think i should be lifting more for my size.

maybe its just me, im my worst critic.

strength first and size will follow

week off sounds like a good idea

I had that problem at this same time last year, couldn't get past the 275 mark, I changed my workout for 6 weeks and began to see a huge difference. ie...Started doing heavy dumbells instead of flat bench, sets of 5, Then when we moved back to flat bench I felt like the hulk! well....you know, a little 5'8 hulk....

Change everything up bro: the diet, the workout setup, your daily routine. You need some new stimuli in your life to give you a better edge in your outlook on everything, including weightlifting.

Can't believe no one said eat more.
While thats not always the answer it sure seems to be the only answer to every question about progress!

                        That being said-- Eat more!

And if your stength is still climbing it does'nt sound as if your over trained. I am though a firm believer in time off though. I take a wk off about ever 10 wks.

                        Did I counterdict myself well?
