    just got a credit card

    I'm not sure what the hell is wrong with me, i never had a credit card in my life because i just never had a need, always used checks or debit cards, now, as a piss poor college student, thsi card is staring at me on my desk saying "please use me to buy things you want now but can't afford till after the next pay check. . . " but i know if i do do that and not use it for emergencies i'm going to join the ranks of the in debt. Grr, now i know why my friends hate there credit cards so much!!!

    thats it, i'm cancleing it before i get into trouble!

    Weird...

    I've never had that problem. If I don't have the money, I'm not going to buy it....

      i was always the same way, i always just saved up for what i want, never hd the option of getting it before i needed it, and i guess thats not a good option for me lol. it's kinda sad really, but atleast i can admit ti

        Sucks bro... they are handy to have... I use mine all the time.

        But I always have the money in my checking account and transfer it over to my CC when I want to buy someting. And you right, they do come in handy for emergencies.

            Avoid them like the plauge.....I make more than enough money and my wife adds to the pot but I still use credit cards and before you know it, its all over. We make combined over 120K a year and still have CC debt...We are now paying like over 300 a month on each card to avoid paying the minimums.
