Best video game system?

Any of you guys still into video games?
I haven't had a system for years since I got rid of my PS1 a few years back. Well, I've been getting the urge to buy a system and just wanted some opinions. I mainly like to play the sports/racing games. So what should I go with...PS2, x box, etc...any opinions?

I have a PS2 and dig it. I also bought my wife a Gamecube for her B-day a few months ago and it's pretty cool too. But I'd have to agree with hust on the PS2. It has badass games.

There are benefits to both (PS2 XBox) Most of my friends prefer Xbox because it is more powerful

I have a playstation 2, but Thinking about an x-box lately. An X-box would be cool, since you can play a lot of sports and racing games online with the x-box live system

i still prefer a nice/fast computer over the xbox or ps2 or gameq.
i love my mouse and my keyboard

i have a mouse and a keyboard for my ps2 plus i can make an xbox real fast almost better then any Pc out today
