My grand-mother is dying!

My only grand-parent left, she 88 and was actually my only grand-mother, as my grandmother on my dad's side was a ***** from hell.

Anyway she was hospitalized this morning.
She has a severe pneumonia, her pulmonary are affected, angina, asthma got involved too and when I was there this morning, her blood pressure started to get lower, only enought to keep body's functions running! So she's make it or go to the other land. The doc told us, that is she go in crisis or her heart fails, they will not proced for reanimation because the effects would be harsh and they will leave her to die.

88years she took her retirement at 84, after working most of her life, 16hours a day, 7 days a week in her grocery, she never has taken vacations!

Yeah cannot really see her she in the intensive care unit, and that part were she is only open for doc and nurses. I got to see her, coz the doc wanted to talk to me, she was all pluged in. And she told the doc to let her go if the other side is calling not to keep her here.

I'm not sure about Canada but here in the states, They will allow it if the person is not going to make it.

I know my grand ma and she will fight it, get better and get out.

She will get in her bed, and die there!

I know this is going to happen!
She will not let herself die in a hospital bed, she has too much pride.

SORRY BRO I KNOW MY GRANDMA WAS ALWAYS LIKE A MOTHER TO ME AND WHEN I JOINED THE ARMY I CAME BACK FROM BASIC AIT AND JUMPSCHOOL SO I WAS GONE AWHILE. WELL INSTEAD OF GOING TO VISIT EVERYONE I WANTED TO REST THAT DAY AND GO SEE HER THE NEXT DAY. WELL THAT NIGHT SHE HAD A STROKE AND DIED AND SHE DIDNT EVEN KNOW I WAS BACK HOME. I NEVER HAVE FORGIVEN MYSELF FOR THAT.

Well, we got news.

Her blood analysis reports that she did a heart's attack too. And, she's in the high risk to do one again like very soon.

But, if that doesnt happen until Monday, they move her to a room, for some days then she back home!!!!!!!!!

My grandmother was like that too. She fought off eveerything and got better so she could go home and die in her own bed. She refused to die in a hospital.

She was 93.

except she didnt recognized me, thought my father was alive, and told me to say hi to my wife and kid... hmmm
