    Does this make me a geek?

    This weekend I'm going to attempt to change the laser color of my optical mouse.

    I want to change it to blue. Blue is gooder.
    I don't know if you can do that...I've only seen red ones. Guess we'll see. I already have a blue LED for it...

    And I'm going to modify my case. I'm going to cut out all of the fan grills/covers. And I'm going to put in a switch so that I can change my fan from 12V to 5V. This case is stupid noisey.

    Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.

            Hmmmm.. I thought so.

            Oh well.. what can I say, I like modifying things. Can't leave anything alone.. got that Tim Taylor "Gotta make it better" bug.

                sweet,, yeh i've never seen blue ones either.. would be kool if u could change it...
                as for the case. u should see mine... i took it apart and rewired it million times. looks so nice and neat now...

                        The pics from that site don't work for me for some reason.

                        Is the optical part of the mouse using a blue LED? It's using an blue LED fan, but I'm not sure about the optical laser.
