If you are having trouble staying logged in when navigating between forums/topics/etc., you need to reset your session cookie. Go into your browser and delete any cookie for the site them log back in. This should fix the login issue.
every time i do asearch in gogle a new windo opens up with this different search engine ...........also eveytime i try to check my yahoo email ......the same seardch engine comes up in the same window as my email ......thus i cant check my email ......bc it automaticly goes to this stupid searchengine!!!!.........someone please tell me how to get rid of this.

A small utility for removing CoolWebSearch (aka CoolWwwSearch, YouFindAll, White-Pages.ws and a dozen other names). Spybot S&D tends to forget essential parts of the hijack, so until it updates, you can just this to completely remove the hijack. Updated to remove the new variants once they come out.

Chem - his sounds more like a virus than an annoying popup. I got hit with a very similar one from www.incredifind.com. Found it listed on some tech site as a virus and downloaded the info on how to remove it.

I've spent the last day or so cleaning various virus type applications off of my Presario 2100 but can't seem to get everything cleaned out. I then downloaded and ran Spybot S&D several times. I have cleaned up everything it came up with and SpyBot now comes up clean. Unfortunately, IE(v6.0), the home page, and the favorites keep getting repopulated with porn. I have also deleted the offending sites from the host file but it also continues to be overwritten

You also might want to pay a visit to HouseCall's and do an on line virus scan. You have a lot of issues though.
