my dog ate my cap

it was my favorite one. grey and black it was cool. and he ate it tore it into little pieces. the shelter where i got him said he was a year or 2 old the vet said 8 months. he is still a damn pup. i am very distraught for the loss of my cap. damn dog he will stay in the laundry room for a few hours to learn his lesson.
