OK here the BIG one! 3 guys split a motel room. the guy @ the desk charges them 30$(10$ea.). later the clerk realizes he over charged them 5$ (it should have been 25$), so he figures hell give each of them 1 dollar back and keep 2 for himself to make it simple.so each guy paid 9$. now 9x3=27and the clerk kept2$. thats 29$ wheres the other dollar?

I've seen that one!! That is just fucked up!! There is no answer because its an odd number and you can't split a dollar three ways!!!

you're not splitting the dollar, where did it go? all the money is accounted for but the math doesnt add up.

they paid 30... but it's 25... so he returns each 1 buck each... and keeps 2 for himself... 1+1+1+2=5
so 30 - 5 = 25
