A granite face lists
Heavily to the side
Tears of sadness
Tears of pride
Down your face
Paths of pain
The sparkling mist
Becomes like rain
Quickly they fall
Scattered about
Shards of unhappiness
Shatter to doubt
Upon the ocean
A sea of calm
Beckons to you
A soothing balm
Cast your pain
Your regrets adrift
Upon the waters
The current lifts
Them out to sea
Far from sight
Watching forever
Day turns to night
Heavens appear
A brightly lit moon
Casts your reflection
Not a moment too soon
You see your face
A mirror indeed
Worry is gone
Regret and need
Smiling again
You turn back home
Hope walks with you
Never alone.
