If you are having trouble staying logged in when navigating between forums/topics/etc., you need to reset your session cookie. Go into your browser and delete any cookie for the site them log back in. This should fix the login issue.

As for sending a card and making an appearance -- very sweet and very compassionate.....if I hear of anything -- I will keep you posted. But for now, this is all we got.

I feel as though it would not be for me...I think that in a time like this it is comforting to the family to know he had so many friends, so for someone that knows him better I am sure it would be appreciated

I would suggest going to the calling hours if you wanted to show your respect and say your good byes. I would let the actual funeral service be a private moment for relatives and close family friends.

I would like to go to the funeral. I have very deep personal reasons for this and need to know when and where so I can get a flight asap. GU and I were close, specifically about this addiction. I was there as was he for me during some rough times. I feel as if my own brother died even though our only connection revolved around discussing opiate addiction. God I tried to help him. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
