  • Poll: Bush to London?

Do you think George W. should go to London if there is intelligence warning of "threats of terrorism" and violent demonstrations, requiring the Metro police to raise it's number of officers on duty from 5,000 to 14,000, costing the British taxpayers £7m (don't know the conversion).

Doesn't make any sense to spend that much money on security!

He should definitly go to London. He owes the British and Tony Blair big time for tagging along for his war against Iraq. He should visit and he should take the heat the British people have every right to demonstrate just like a free democracy. Especially since the majority of British were against the war. I'm sure a lot of them aren't happy losing British soldiers lives in a war that they didn't support and is George W.'s mess.

Yeah you are right on. The reason he is there is to take some of the heat off Blair, who has been an extreme ally of this country. Blair needs teh Brits support so he can continue supporting us.

If Blair was American he would be a Democrat. That shows how much he believes that the Iraq war is justified....as do I

Mad props to Blair and all the Blokes in Brittain

Ya I really like Tony Blair for sticking with us. He has to go in front of parliment all the time and take heat when they hit him with any questions they want I don't know what they call it but its part of their government.

I couldn't imagine Bush doing that in front of the senate. I'm a Bush hater though on his foreign policy and economic. Lets see if I can sum it up quickly.

foreign - Saddam didn't do 9/11, not immenent threat. If he wants to fight terrorists why doesn't he do something about Saudi Arabia, but he won't even mention them.

Economic - Tax cuts to the rich don't work to stimulate the economy. It didn't work in the great depression remember. He's had plenty of time now to get the economy going and its not especially the JOBS.

              Clark or Kerry 2004

hell anybody but Bush I'll take Al Sharpton over Bush.

What, its their last meeting together because both "leader" will not be reelected next year.

Also, intelligence says "high" threat to Bush security. MEAN NOT TO EAT BRITISH PRETZELS while watching Liverpool against Manchester!

Clark was dismissed as Supreme Allied Commander because of "character" issues. And that came form his superior who has no political ties and I believe the comment was made before his run at the white house.

I thought that Clark looked good at first..then when I began to read more about him from colleagues and such I began to feel like he was one to do or say anything for teh prestige of position and the power which comes with it.
