Thats a toughy bro...In my eyes...How can you believe in the bible but not all of it. Im not meaning any disrespect either. The war we just finished was about freedom. That includes freedom to worship who or whatever you want. Im just curious how. As far as the hypocrites that preach it, we are all sinners, we all try to follow the bible. Its in our nature to sin.

I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated. I went to catholic school for 7 years and it really turned me off religion. I believe in a higher power and if we live a good life we will go somewhere when we die(not hell either). Most of the peole in china dont believe in jesus. Can a billion be wrong?

brother i applaud your conviction. i was once like you. i am a PK and went to church everytime there were services or young life or anything. i saw hypocricy. not all people but so many it amazed me. i prayed for direction, for comfort when i was hurting, i prayed for God to help me hold my faith. its pretty much gone now i felt nothing. i live a life that most christians would be envious of. so God will damn me to hell because i dont beleive that Jesus died for our sins? hard to swallow. so why do we have the 10 commandments? no reason to follow them just repent before you die and your good to go.

also i have a problem with God being omnipotent. if he already knows what is happening before it happens then we are living a scripted life with no real choice. God knows whos going to hell already so i guess i am doomed.

You Christians talk about HELL like it's a bad thing. When in reality, Hell and the Devil have kept the Churches of the world in business since the beginning!!!!!

We shall see.....I know thats not a christian like attitude and I should try to help you understand. My job here is done. I post verses for people who want to see them. If you dont believe, or dont like what I post, dont read them.

Hell is a very real place as is Heaven. This book (The Bible) was penned by 40 different authors all inspired by God over 1500 years. It all has the same theme. Nothing contradicts anything else in the bible.
