It's a long story, but basically I've been good friends with this guy since we were kids. Went to HS together, rode the same bus, etc. He never told anyone he was gay until after HS.. up until that point, I never thought I'd be friends with a gay guy. Until I find out that one of my best friends is indeed gay. We always had suspicions.. I mean..the girls loved him and he never had a girlfriend. But on the other hand, he never acted gay, and in all the times we'd been out partying and drunk etc...he never hit on any of us or anything like that.
I was kinda odd at first.. I mean, he didn't change. But basically I just realized he's still the same person and a good person at that.
Now that I'm used to it, being friends with a gay guy can kinda be fun. We still check out people when we go to the bar... I check out the girl, he checks out the boyfriend. I know I never have to worry about him stealing a girl from me.... plus it's kinda handy when he attracts the girls... IF I'm interested, I just drop the "He's gay" bomb and move in myself.RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.

I think a lot of people miss out on a lot in life, because they're too concerned with how other people live their lives.
