Over 200 homes have burned down and the fire is spreading my direction. At 6am this morning about a half a mile away from my work I could see flames burning on the hillside and the air is a solid sheet of smoke and ash.

ya its gettin pretty bad. right now im in riverside county north of SD and we got a grip of fires up here to. i think it was 3 in the same day at 3 totally different locations. alot of people are screamin arson.Comment

just heard that they closed a grip of schools in SD county due to the fires. UCSD is one of them. loads of elementarys and high schools.Comment

How many is a "grip" again?
Damn Julsdsu21... this sounds very familiar to what I went through in August. Over 250homes burnt... over 35,000 people evacuated. I even got evacuated for a while.
