Best deal on protein bar....

Was at the "dollar tree" store - everything $1

They had Balance energy bars - I look at the nutritional content - 16g protein, low (relatively) fat and low on sugar.

I thought wow - great deal you get something like that at GNC for $3.


So I got a bunch of them - then I looked - it's "3 for $1" --- WOW 33c a bar


Needles to say - I bought everything they had in the store.


So, if you have a "dollar tree" store in your neighborhood - check it out - see if they have those bars.

I watch for sales....but that is wayyy cheaper than what I pay. But if they are anything like the Balance energy bars I have looked at they are pretty high in carbs.....around the 30-40g mark....too high for me in a protien bar.

yup, i saw the Met-Rx bars there for 79 cents each. Wow, I could buy a whole months worth there

Great price... I'm not really on the supplement train anymore. I decided mid cycle to eat real food only.

Still, that's a great price!
