I dont get it. I saw the mother. It was definate a Rott. I saw the dad, it was definate a Pit, I saw papers for both even. When she was born, all of her brothers had the rust markings just like a rott. She does look like a lab though, untill she gets pissed. Then there is no mistake you can see the rott and the pit in her.

Its pretty cool too. People will come up like its a lil ol lab and then she will growl and show her teeth and the hair stand up on her back. The funniest thing is she would never hurt a fly, unless it messes with me.

I wanna get a dobie next. Id also love to have a presca canara, a wolf/lab hybrid (rare but awesome), and a full rottie.

She's beautiful~

Labs can be rather protective in their own ways too..
My dog will get between me & somebody she thinks is a threat & her hair will stand up between her shoulders.
She's never really growled at anyone yet though.. but she's always aware of things happening & investigating them

I think German Shepards are the best dogs. We had a rott once and had soooo many problems with it being toooo aggressive that we had to get rid of it. Our Shepard is protective but, knows when to be loving and when to be protective.

I would love to have your shedding problem. I have to clean the whole house like a maniac twice a week. I swear in 6 months I could make a dog hair pillow.. yuck

I presently own two Shepherds, one German and the other Czech lines....they shed constantly throughout the year. The only way to keep on top of it is to "rake" and brush them daily.
